i Wien mellom 1906 og 1910, og brukte mye matematikk som bakgrunn for studi=

Han tok doktorgraden i 1910, og ble seinere assistent ved universitetet i e=
ksperimentell
fysikk. Han mente at tida med eksperimentell fysikk hadde mye &aring; si for

slo seg ned i Z&uuml;rich. Her ble atomstruktur emnet hans, og han leste de
Broglies arbeider om b&oslash;lge-partikkeldualismen. Etter &aring; ha hold=

foredrag om dette emnet, mente en student som h&oslash;rte p&aring; at det
m&aring;tte finnes en b&oslash;lgelikning. Noen uker seinere hadde
Schr&ouml;dinger denne likningen ferdig. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Berlin, hvor han ble til nazistene overtok i Tyskland i 1933. Da flyttet han
